B.E.E. Folders

Bringing Everything Everyday

B.E.E. is an acronym for Bringing Everything Everyday. This folder is like your child’s briefcase. B.E.E. folders are intended to help students stay organized. It contains everything needed to bring to school and take home daily. Here is an explanation of the components in the order that they are found in the folder.

FRONT COVER

The folder is a yellow poly folder to last throughout the year. On the front cover is a label with the student's name.

FRONT POCKET
The front pocket is for notes
from the school office or the
PTA. They should be read and
removed daily.

This pouch is to be used for
money sent to school for field
trips, book orders, school fees,
etc. Any money that is sent to
school should be sent in a
labeled envelope (student's name,
date, amount and purpose) and
placed in this pouch.

In the clear sleeve, you will
find a copy of our weekly
newsletter, The Buzz. This
newsletter will include what
students are learning for the
week, important information, and
upcoming dates. Any information
from me (classroom specific) will
be placed back to back in this
sleeve with The Buzz.

READING LOG

Students are required to read
for 15 minutes each night.
Information should be recorded on
the reading log each night and
signed by a parent.

COMMUNICATION LOG

These pages are to be used as
a communication tool between
parent and teacher. I will be
writing notes to you in this
section and also looking for
communications from you. Please
check this section daily as I
will do the same. Please do not
remove any communication pages
from this section. This allows us
to look back and remember any
communications we may have had.
This will help us remember what
we've discussed and when we
discussed it. I will initial all
notes I read from you and ask
that you do the same. That way,
we know notes have been read,
even when no response is
necessary.

BACK POCKET

This pocket will contain pages
that are part of a homework
assignment and/or unfinished
classwork that needs to be
completed at home.
