School Information:  We are located in Covington, Louisiana. We are on the north shore of Lake Ponchartrain, approximately 40 miles from New Orleans. Our school was built in the 1950s. We have just completed a massive renovation to both the second and third grade wing and the kindergarten wing. The gym and cafeteria were also redone. Soon we will have a new library facility. Covington Elementary School has a student body of approximately 500 students. We service students in pre-kindergarten through third grade. We offer many services and programs for our students. We take pride in our excellent faculty and staff, our wonderful students, and their supportive families.
